Who Should Volunteer

We deeply appreciate everyone who volunteers with us—individuals and organizations—and strive to make your experience as fulfilling as possible. For individuals, we prefer volunteers who can commit long term and give 4 or more hours a week. We offer orientation for everyone who wants to volunteer at Sagepoint.

Currently, areas for service include:

  • Arts/Crafts
  • Gardening
  • Dining Room
  • Entertainment
  • Religious Services
  • Friendly Visits
  • Bingo Program
  • Computers
  • Games/Cards
  • Ceramics
  • Office Assistant
  • Field Trips
  • Exercise
  • Resident Transport

Community Service Credits

Volunteering at Sagepoint qualifies for high school students looking to fulfill their volunteer credits.

Days of Service for Organizations

Your business, school organization, or charitable group is always welcome to volunteer—whether for intensive “Team Days” of serving or on a more casual ongoing basis. Recently, for example, our local Lions Club installed a flower bed at Sagepoint Gardens.

  1. Start by filling out our application form or call and schedule an interview.  All applicants to our volunteering program will receive a background check and accepted applicants will get an orientation.
