Honoring Family Caregivers Throughout November

November is National Family Caregivers’ Month, a time to honor the more than 53 million unpaid family caregivers across the United States who selflessly dedicate their time, energy and love to caring for their loved ones.

Caregiving is often a role that goes unrecognized. It can feel isolating, overwhelming and at times, exhausting—yet it is also filled with moments of deep connection, compassion and resilience. Shining a light on caregivers this month helps destigmatize the challenges they face, while also encouraging communities to step forward with education, resources and support.
